Monday, March 15th, 2010 7:00-8:00 pm

Clackamas Community College, Nieymier Center

Janna will be playing harp with the college string orchestra for their quarterly concert. This concert will feature the harp on the Celtic Concert for Harp, a lovely medley of Irish tunes with orchestration that gives the harp a chance to shine! The concerto is about fifteen minutes in length, but there is plenty of other fun music in this program, including a song with the CCC choir and Renaissance music complete with Renaissance dancers in costume!

Friday, June 4th, 2010 | 7:00pm

Crossroads Coffee Cafe

250 Princton Avenue Suite 101

Gladstone, OR 97027

Mark your calendars now for a delightful early summer concert in the intimate atmosphere of this lovely cafe! More details coming soon.

For the past ten years the Bisceglia Family has enjoyed making music together. In 2005, Sarah, Janna, Krista, and Kathrina formed a quartet Whispering Roses to play for special events, and they now perform the greater part of the program, however, mom, (Carol) and dad, (Noel) still join for a few songs, and brother Noah is fast becoming an excellent guitar player. Their repertoire includes Celtic and folk music with a lovely fusion of piano, harp, English flutes, violin and vocals. The Bisceglia Family performs annually for the Grotto's Christmas festival of lights. In December 2007 they released their debut CD, titled Journey Through The Highlands. With music ranging from the wilds of Scotland, to the green meadows of Irelands, lovely American folk music and a sacred piece or two, this music is delightfully family friendly.

A listener wrote of Whispering Roses "Each of you is so talented playing on your chosen instrument, and when you add your sweetly harmonizing voices the effect is quite charming."
